Git Plugin retirement starts on April 17, 2025.
What does it mean for customers?
As of April 17, 2025, Git plugin profiles will stop syncing revisions from connected repositories. Plugins configuration and revisions in Source Code tab will be available for 3 months after that.
As of July 17, 2025, plugin will stop being available from UI, imported revisions will be removed along with Source Code tab. The endpoints will be removed: /api/v1/Revisions/meta and /api/v1/RevisionFiles/meta
What customers can do?
Transition to using new Integrations service with GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Bitbucket
Will data be migrated from old plugin to new integration service?
No, the new integration service is configured differently, and setting up the new authorization requires customer involvement as part of the process.
