Known Issues and Limitations
- The restore action will not be reflected in the entity's history.
- 'Deleted Items' show default terms of the domain model instead of customized entity types name
- Twice restored items will not be found by ID until search reindex.
- The following properties will not be restored and might require manual actions:
- Restore connection to the same Jira/ADO item. Right now restored Targetprocess item will sync as new (if it matches the sync criteria). If you want to connect it to the same Jira or ADO items you will have to do that manually: restore ticket in Jira / ADO and then do 'Link to existing' id from Targetprocess.
- Followers list will not be restored. Users will have to follow the entity updates once again.
How it works
Undelete functionality is only available to Targetprocess Admins yet from the Settings > Deleted Items page
First, you choose type of the entity you want to restore. Only Users and Projects are not available in this list, they are extracted to separate tabs:
Secondly, choose an entity type that you will restore:
Then you can type a specific ID to restore or choose an item of selected type from the list:
In rare cases if the list fails to display all the deleted items of selected type you can still restore an item by ID:
Original Entity ID will be preserved after restoration.
All changes and post-actions triggered by the entity deletion – in-app or email notifications, recalculated metrics, results of Automation Rules, etc – will not be reverted.
Action may trigger long-running automations or metrics recalculations that depend on the installed solutions in a particular instance of Targetprocess.
