Limits on Vertical Lanes
It is possible to set WIP Limits for vertical lanes, so that you get a visual feedback when this limit is met or exceeded.
Custom Field Lanes
It is possible to group cards by Custom Fields. Note that only the Drop Down List, Multiple Selection list and Targetprocess Entity custom fields are supported.
Click Settings, go to Process, click the Custom Fields tab and create a Custom Field for User Story. Let's say, we want to track Risk for all the user stories, and there are 3 risk values: High, Average and Low.
Now set up a new Board View:
- Cards: User Story
- Columns: Risk
Here you can easily set Risk for User Stories in the backlog, or change Risk with drag and drop.
With Custom Fields you can create gazillions of different Views to fit all your needs and group cards by: Risk, Modules, Classes of Services, T-shirt Estimates, etc.
